Ornamec 170 is a selective herbicide for the post-emergent control of grassy weeds in landscapes over the top of many other plantings. Ornamec 170 can be used to control a long list of weedy grass types while not affecting other plans like shrubs, ground covers and flowers to name a few. Ornamec 170 can also be used to control bermudagrass when it is an undesirable cultivar in a fescue lawn. For a complete list of weedy grasses Ornamec 170 controls and all the plants it can be sprayed over, see the label. Ornamec 170 is a generic version of Fusilade II.
-A post-emergent herbicide designed specifically to control certain grasses growing in undesirable locations such as landscape beds and ground covers.
-Can be applied over-the-top of over 400 labeled species of shrubs, wildflowers, trees, flowers, and groundcovers.
-Stops grass growth within 48 hours and causes death in 1-3 weeks.
-The ideal solution to treating grass in areas where it shouldn’t be without the backbreaking effort of pulling them by hand, leaving desired plants as undisturbed as possible.
-When seed gets blown off target during overseeding and ends up in areas like pachysandra beds, Ornamec 170 allows you to quickly and easily stop the off-target grass growth while leaving your bedding pristine.
