If you have active grubs that you wish to treat, we recommend you use Dylox 6.2G, however at this point in the season you shouldn't see any more damage from grubs and theres not much of a need to apply Dylox now. Also, most of the moles diet is earthworms, so treating for grubs is in no way a guarantee that you will keep moles out of your lawn. Moles certainly eat grubs, and if you have a grub infestation you will have moles, but getting rid of the grubs wont get rid of the moles if you have healthy soil with plenty of earthworms. When if comes to proper use of Acelepryn, this is a preventative grub control that is stored in the root of the grass plant and when the next grub egg hatch occurs in August their food source is poisoned. Because Acelepryn works in this systemic manner, you need to hav your grass already established applying it at the time of seeding will be a waste as theres no roots to take it up. I recommend you seed first, then 4-6 weeks later apply Acelepryn once the grass has the ability to take it in and use it.
